Leave provisions
In a full leave year which runs from
1st April to 31st March, everyone has a basic annual leave
entitlement of between 24 and 28 days year dependant on the salary
grade of the post. This is proportioned accordingly for part time
employees.

Allowances increase by a further 5 days after 5 years continuous

Paid / Bank Holidays
2 additional days’ local holidays normally
given at Christmas / New Year to facilitate a Christmas
closure. You will be required to use the appropriate number
of days leave to cover this closure.

Annual leave entitlements pro-rata for employees starting part way
through the leave year (1 April – 31 March) or working part
time

Special leave provisions covering such issues as personal
and domestic matters eg serious illness, bereavement of a dependant
relative, extended leave to travel abroad, territorial army duties
etc

Maternity leave – we pay Occupational Maternity Leave to
supplement statutory provisions

Maternity support leave, Statutory Paternity Leave and
Additional Paternity Leave

Adoption leave
|

Parental leave. Facility to have up to 13 week’s unpaid
leave.
