Community Funding Opportunities

RBH Members Community Fund is now open for applications for 2017!

Are you involved with a community group in an RBH neighbourhood and have a great idea for a project your group would like to deliver? We want to hear from you!

Are you an RBH member with a great idea for a project and interested in establishing or working alongside a community group to make your idea happen? We want to hear from you!

RBH Members’ Community Fund invites members and community led organisations  to submit funding applications for activities that have a direct impact on our neighbourhoods. All applications must be supported by one or more RBH members.

To ensure that our community funding is smart, the projects we fund will have a focus on outcomes for the community that directly link to RBH priorities. These are:

  • employment and skills.
  • support services and advice
  • digital inclusion
  • health and wellbeing
  • social Inclusion
  • families, children and young people
  • improving green spaces
  • mutuality across neighbourhoods

Here are some examples of the projects we would like to support

Support into Employment/Digital Inclusion –  These are projects that that would support people to gain employment? Your project could look to support people to learn how to develop their digital skills to access job searches, help to prepare CVs or complete applications. Maybe your project would focus on confidence building or increasing people’s chances of a successful interview through guidance or providing the right clothes to wear for an interview.

Health and Wellbeing/Social Inclusion – These are projects that could encourage improvements to people’s health or well being.. Your project could provide opportunities for people to become more active, learn new skills, overcome isolation or develop existing interests.

Making the most of money – These are projects that help people get good value for their money or assist people who are struggling to make ends meet. Your project could  involve people getting together to buy things cheaper in bulk or swapping unwanted items.

The closing date for applications to RBH Members Fund 2017 is Monday 1st May 2017. To apply:
