Time is running out for RBH members to submit nominations for the new RBH members charity.
It has been an honour and a pleasure for RBH to work with Springhill Hospice as our charity of the year – and hundreds of our tenant and employee members have got involved in sponsored events, raffles, competitions and activities to raise money.
Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed - over the last 12 months alone, RBH members have raised an enormous £8,124 for Springhill Hospice in addition to volunteer time across a range of projects.
It’s now time to choose the next members charity which we will support for two years. RBH members can nominate any UK registered charity, as long as their work benefits RBH communities in some way and RBH has not previously supported them as our Members Charity. This could be a national or local charity.
Nominations close at 4pm on Friday 8th July. Submit your nomination now via the online form at www.rbh.org.uk/memberscharity.
The tenant and employee members on the Community Funding Panel will then shortlist the nominations and the shortlisted charities will be put to a member vote at the Annual Members Meeting on 17th September. There will also be an option to vote online. Look out for your membership newsletter in August for information about the shortlisted charities and how to vote.
