Rochdale Digital Festival 2016: Saturday 27th February

RBH are delighted to be taking part in the second Rochdale Digital Festival, organised by Rochdale Borough Council and being held on Saturday 27th February at Number One Riverside in Rochdale town centre. The event runs from 10am until 4pm and is aimed at de-mystifying technology, showing how useful it can be and the career opportunities it can bring.

RBH will join than 30 organisations including Google, BBC iPlayer, BT, Hive Manchester, Community Arts Northwest, Boots, Marks & Spencer and Barclays Digital Eagles, who will all be there alongside Rochdale Council staff, showing how to browse, buy and use services online, saving you time and money.

Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine, best known for playing feisty Fiona ‘Fiz’ Brown in the ITV1 soap, will be meeting visitors from 12pm as well as getting to grips with a whole range of technology herself. Although she has an i-Phone, tablet and laptop she says she could definitely do with some help:
“I do use the internet, but I’m certainly not brilliant when it comes to technology. I suppose I just about manage to get by, so I’m looking forward to seeing what new things I can learn on Saturday.”
