What’s On Offer?
The future of your home is very much a ‘mutual’
process. You should now have received the formal
consultation Offer Document on the proposed transfer and your views
are crucial.
This is your chance to shape the Council’s
offer to tenants - so be sure to use it as the result will be a
milestone on the RBH journey to create new opportunities for the
future – for tenants, employees and the wider community. You
will be able to return your views to the Council by phone, post or
online.
In the Offer Document the
Council sets out the detailed framework for our transfer vision. It
has been developed after six months of hard work by the Tenants’
Panel.
If you haven’t received your copy of the
Offer Document then please telephone us on 01706

If tenants vote in favour it
is proposed that the properties would transfer to RBHs ownership by
April 2012. Following the transfer we would be working with
tenants to develop the details of the mutual model and would become
a full mutual organisation within 15 months. Coincidentally,
2012 is the designated International Year of Co-operatives by the
United Nations.
