We're really pleased to have been shortlisted in the top ten in the race to be named the country’s top social landlord - and the Great British public get to decide the winner!
This is the second time in three years that RBH has been named amongst the UK’s top ten social landlords by an expert panel organised by 24housing magazine. Each year, 24housing produce a list of the top 50 social landlords, with places one to ten decided by an online public vote.
Gareth Swarbrick, RBH Chief Executive, said:
"I'm delighted that we have once again been named as a top ten landlord by 24housing. This is a great testament to the hard work and commitment displayed by RBH employees, members, Representative Body members and Board members as well, of course, as RBH tenants who we are all here to serve."
We are very grateful to fellow mutuals Phoenix Community Housing (south-east London) and Merthyr Valley homes, both of whom are also on the final shortlist, for making our initial nominations. With Community Gateway (Preston) also making the cut, four of the top ten are mutual housing societies.
The public vote is open until 17th June on the 24housing website at: http://24dash.com/news/housing/2016-05-31-Top-50-Social-Landlords-Vote-now
