RBH employees and tenants are gearing up once again for an Apprentice-style challenge to raise money for their charity of the year, as Springhill Hospice hand over the keys to their Rochdale shops for one day only.
Two teams of RBH members will spend Thursday 19th May running the two hospice shops on Yorkshire Street and Oldham Road in Rochdale, using their enthusiasm and ingenuity to increase takings by as much as possible to support the RBH charity of the year.
No-one will get fired but the team that raises the most money will receive a small reward, and the real winners are the beneficiaries of the extra money raised for Springhill Hospice.
This is the third year that RBH and Springhill Hospice have teamed up to organise the shop challenge. Over the previous two years the RBH teams have raised takings by over £2200.
Sue Kershaw, RBH Membership Manager, said:
“Our teams are full of fantastic ideas to make sure that they raise as much money as possible for our brilliant charity of the year. Please pop down if you are nearby and help us to help Springhill Hospice!”
