Our display board showing what we like and dislike and why.

Tea and biscuits with tenants from around the borough. We
asked them lots of questions about where they live, what things
adults and children do that cause problems and upset people and the
things we could do to be better citizens and good neighbours.

Staff from the Council's Environmental Protection Team joined
the class to talk about noise nuisance. We listened to
different sounds and did a quiz about how noise affects people.

We enjoyed the snakes and ladders game. We decided which
stickers described things that a good member of our community would
do and we put these at the bottom of the ladders. We put the
stickers that describe the things that a bad member of our
community would do at the top of the snakes. Then we had some
fun playing the game.
We all received a certificate and silver presentation plate:
Boarshaw Primary School, Middleton

Belfield Primary School, Rochdale North Woodlands Primary
School, Heywood
The best thing abut RBH Community Kids is:
- "Meeting the tenants. We talked to them and found out lots of
things. They were really friendly".
- "Everything".
- "Going on the walk and taking photos because it was very
interesting".
- "Everything because we had lots of fun".
- "The work, because we learned about the community".
- "Having our certificates".
- "Drawing the pictures".
- "I hope RBH come again because they do good activities"
- "The snakes and ladders game because it was fun, it tells you
about the good and bad things that you should and shouldn't do and
I won".
- "When we went for the walk. It helped us learn about our
community and we should respect it".
Because of what I have learned I will do things differently:
- "I won't drop litter".
- "I won't make a lot of noise".
- "I will try harder to not bother people when I play out".
- "I'll stop kicking the ball into people's gardens".
- "I'll try to help the environment more".
- "Not to play football outside old people's houses".
- "I will look after my estate".
- "I won't steal".
- "I'll try to be a better citizen".
- "That we have to make our estate leaner".
- "Not to break the rules of the community".
And finally.... A lovely thank you from the children at Boarshaw
Primary School.
