All discounts awarded by landlords in the North West region are
subject to an overall maximum of £26,000. The discount entitlement
may be reduced if:
- You have received a discount in respect of a previous sale
which has not been repaid
- The amount the council has spent on the property within the
last 10 - 11 years, over and above repair costs of £5,500 is
greater than the discounted price.
If you decide to sell your property you may have to repay all
or some of the discount. See Selling your
home for more information.
