Healthy Housing Awards celebrate great partnership working

Our HOOP Advisor Paula Warwick was shortlisted in the 2020 National Healthy Housing Awards, and our partnership work helped the Rochdale Council Home Improvement Agency to awards success!

We are thrilled that our great partnership working with Rochdale Council's Home Improvement Agency (HIA) has been recognised in this year's National Healthy Housing Awards.

The annual Healthy Housing Awards celebrate the achievements of those who provide the support that residents need to enable them to continue to live comfortably in their own homes.

Paula Warwick, our Housing Options for Older People (HOOP) Advisor, was shortlisted for the "caseworker of the year". The HOOP service provides advice and assistance on housing, care, and support options to residents aged 55 and over and their families. Well done Paula!

Our work with the Home Improvement Agency has also been recognised in the "social housing adaptations of the year" category, where our partnership work to secure a suitable adapted home for three wheelchair users was part of the winning entry. This pioneering partnership approach to adapting a new build RBH home, working together with the Council and our architect, will make a real difference to our tenants!
