National recognition for RBH’s Independent Living Service

Our Independent Living Service provides homes and support for residents at 26 independent living schemes across Rochdale Borough, plus the Borough’s first extra care scheme, Hare Hill in Littleborough.

We're delighted to announce that our Independent Living Service team have had their hard work and expertise recognised by achieving the prestigious EROSH code of practice accreditation.

EROSH is the national network for older people’s housing and support services, and their code of practice enables housing providers to demonstrate the quality of their services for older tenants against a nationally recognised standard.

Our Independent Living Service provides homes and support for residents at 26 independent living schemes across Rochdale Borough, plus the Borough’s first extra care scheme, Hare Hill in Littleborough. The EROSH accreditation provides independent external recognition for the high level of service that they provide.

Many of the tenants in our independent living schemes are at the very highest clinical risk from the pandemic, as well as being more vulnerable to social isolation. For our team to achieve accreditation against this backdrop is a fantastic achievement and a real demonstration of the support and care that all our employees show for our older residents. I am really proud of them and the service that they provide.
