About Your Local Pantry
The first pantry was open in Rochdale by a group of women in Kirkholt in 2016. This model was then replicated by other groups in the borough. Your Local Pantry is a membership based organisation and are volunteer-led – meaning they are operated by local people for local people.
How much does it cost?
Members of the Pantry can access a weekly shop with an average value of £12 for just £3.
When is it open?
The pantries are open once a week on a Thursday from 9.30am to 12pm.
Who can join the Local Pantry?
There are NO vouchers, referrals, or means-tested applications, so as long as are a resident of Kirkholt, Smallbridge or Freehold you are eligible to join.
