Benefits of Working for RBH

  • Real Living Wage - RBH is an accredited Living Wage employer. We pay above the real Living Wage to ensure everyone can afford the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families.
  • 36.25 hour working week for full time employees and we actively support many flexible working patterns - due to the current pandemic, we are working differently at the moment. Our Head Office is closed and non-front line colleagues are working from home.  We are exploring a model of working which will combine regular working from home/remote working and the creation of collaboration hubs across the borough of Rochdale. In these hubs we will  meet together in our own teams and as cross organisational teams, including  colleague/customer working groups for updates, joint problem solving and project working. We want to use these working spaces to support local businesses and create vibrant community spaces.
  • Holiday entitlement – All colleagues are on a consistent allowance of 30 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays, regardless of grade, with an additional 5 days after completion of five years’ service. Part time employees will receive a pro rata entitlement.  RBH reserves the right to allocate a minimum of three of these days over the Christmas period at its discretion.  Dependent upon who your current employer is and your length of service, we may be able to give you an additional 5 days on appointment.
  • Employees can also buy up to an additional 5 days holiday per annum
  • Healthcare – automatic enrolment into a health care cash plan, covering optical and dental costs, consultation fees and physio to name but a few.  Level 1 is paid for by RBH but employees can increase the level of cover and add a partner on and pay top up fees,  Children under 18 are included automatically on the level 1 cover.
