We’re reflecting on a year of improvement where we’ve been working on our Recovery Plan that we agreed with our regulator, the Regulator of Social Housing. This plan focuses on making improvements to the way in which RBH is delivering services to you, our customers.

We’re making good progress in making the changes needed to improve our services and we want to share our new Corporate Strategy with you that will frame what we do over the coming year. This one-year strategy is focused on our role of being a great provider of homes in the Borough, and rebuilding confidence in RBH as a great landlord.

We've listened to the feedback we received from you, our customers. Working with our Board, Representative Body, and colleagues, we have taken the things you told us are important, and created a plan for the next 12 months. It will see us build on the work of the last year and continue to focus on our core role of providing homes and communities that people are proud to live in.

We want to ensure that we can focus on those things that will make the biggest difference to the people living in our homes. We need to build back trust and we couldn’t be more committed to doing so.

Our plan focuses on five key themes:

  • Customers: Our services will be shaped with our customers with their voices heard in our business every day.
  • Communities: We’ll support the building of thriving, inclusive communities where embracing diversity makes our communities great places to live.
  • People: Our focus will be on building a great place to work with a supportive and inclusive culture
  • Homes: We’ll continue to invest in our homes to ensure they are safe, warm places to live
  • Governance: we'll strengthen our foundations through good governance, and managing our money and risk well
