We've teamed up with our friends at Action Together to provide "warm and well" packs to older tenants who needed a little extra support this winter. Thanks to an Action Together grant, our Community Investment Team and Independent Living Service have been able provide a little extra something to residents to help with the cold winter nights.
The packs contain a fleece blanket, flask, hot water bottle, soups, biscuits, hot chocolate, gloves, and socks. A small torch in case of a power cut has also been included at the suggestion of one of our residents.
The packs also include the Greater Manchester Ageing Hub "Keeping Well This Winter" booklet, and all tenants in our Independent Living Schemes have received a copy of the booklet.
Thank you to Action Together for the support and to all the RBH team, led by our Community Investment Advisor Louise Tattersall, who have put the packs together and delivered them to residents.
