More affordable homes could be on their way to Middleton as we've now submitted our plans for new apartments between Yates Street and Broad Street in Rhodes.
The eight new apartments will all be social housing for genuinely affordable rent and will help to tackle the known shortage of affordable housing in the wider Middleton area.
We are delighted to be working with partners BYA Architects and PLP Construction to help deliver these new homes. A planning application has now been submitted to Rochdale Council.
We know that there is a significant need for more affordable housing in Middleton and these proposals will deliver high-quality new homes in the area – all for genuinely affordable rent. We’re really pleased to be working with PLP Construction, a local business with a track record of giving something back to local communities in Rochdale Borough. I also want to say thank you to all the residents who sent in feedback as part of our community consultation. We have incorporated this feedback where we can into our final design plans.
PLP are looking forward to working with RBH to deliver these new build apartments and make a positive impact in our local community.
