We are really pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Mellor as our new Executive Director of Finance and Development.
Simon joins us from Hafod, where he currently serves as Corporate Director for Finance, Investments, and Development. He will take up his new role in March. Simon is an experienced Executive Director with a strong background within the housing sector that covers finance, treasury, development and regeneration.
Simon replaces John McGrail, who has recently retired. We have appointed Jeremy Vickers as interim Executive Director to lead the team through the next three months.

During the recruitment process, I was impressed by the Executive and Board’s commitment to deliver the recovery plan and the passion to get the very best outcomes for RBH’s customers and communities. I am excited to play my part in the newly formed Executive Team amongst dedicated and highly customer-focussed leaders.
I am delighted that Simon is joining the RBH team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to RBH, which will be critical in taking us into the next phase of our recovery journey and towards a positive future for our customers. As well as his professional credentials, he has a level of passion and enthusiasm that will enable us to move the business forward with rigour, clarity and pace, and I look forward to welcoming him into the Executive Team.
