I have worked in social housing for over 30 years, beginning as a Housing Officer at a local Council. I became a Director at Stockport Homes when it was established as an ALMO (arms-length management organisation) back in 2005. I led a range of corporate and customer facing services that changed over time.
I joined RBH in October 2023 as the Executive Director of Corporate Services, and in April 2026 I became the Executive Director of Customer and Community, taking on a new challenge to continue our improvement journey.
Growing up in social housing has made me appreciate the importance of a secure, safe, and warm home. I understand the difference it can make, which is why I chose a career in social housing. It's also the reason I continue to be passionate about the impact it can have.
Outside of work, I have two adult sons. With more free time now, I have started attending more concerts and enjoying the music of my youth - mostly indie. I am also a Sands Befriender and a member of the Stockport Sands team. We support anyone affected by baby loss.
